A deep notch is placed in the dressing to accommodate the catheter and hub to make application and retention easier and more comfortable for the patient. Positioning the dressing is easy with the frame style design and the transparent window. A recording label is located on the dressing, allowing documentation of dressing changes. Good quality but runs a bit small. My dog is a toy poodle approximately 7.5 lbs and a medium would have fit better. She can still wear it, but I was surprised at the size. It is still cute and works for photos.
