Our French Satin Suspenders have been worn to weddings, society soirées, and the most formal of occasions—sophisticated enough to complement a tuxedo or dinner jacket.
In the 19th century, belt loops did not yet exist. Respectable gentlemen relied on suspenders—often called “braces”—secured to buttons on the waistband to hold their trousers properly in place. This pair features a classic Y-back design with 1½-inch straps, leather accent pieces, and leather attachment loops.
The French satin straps offer an elegant, silky sheen for a refined finish. These short suspenders adjust from 32" to 44" for comfort. Made in the USA. One size fits most.
