Botanical Name: Euphorbia tithymaloides variegata

Native Region/Environment: Widely naturalized, but believed to originate from the West Indies.

Sun/Light: Full sun to part shade.

Temperature: USDA zone 9b-12, or a colorful, full sun houseplant. Best to remain above 50 degrees.  Will not survive a freeze.

Water: Very drought tolerant and forgiving of neglect, with the exception that it does not like overwatering or sitting water.  Best to let the soil dry between waterings.

Soil: Fast draining, porous soils.

Growth Pattern: The small leaves are highly variegated in whites, creams, pinks and greens.  The flowers are small, brilliantly red and resemble an origami bird.  The stems grow tightly packed at the base and fan out in a zig-zag pattern.

Mature Size: 3'-4' wide and tall.

Attributes: A very colorful addition to a dry garden or indoor addition.  The flowers resemble red origami birds and can adorn the plant profusely, but the mottled colors of the leaves are the year round show. A excellent specimen plant for indoors or outdoors.

Pot: 3.5" or 4"

Known by many names-this Euphorbia tithymaloides variegata is almost indestructible and is considered a friendship plant in that stem cuttings root readily making it easy to share with others.

Devil's Backbone is in the Euphorbia family.  This plant may have a degree of toxicity that may cause illness or discomfort if ingested.  It is grown and sold for Ornamental purposes and not intended as a food nor fodder.  Additionally, contact with the sap of this plant may cause irritation or discomfort.

Good quality, but could have used better instructions
The kit was complete, and all the components were well made. However, if you aren't somewhat mechanical, it would be fairly easy to install the gaskets and backing plate in the wrong sequence. With better instructions, this would be a 5 star plus kit.

Don't pay boat shops for over priced services!
Boat shop wanted $400 dollars for a new water pump replacement. Got this on Amazon and watched a few utube videos. Took less then 2hrs to take apart and replace. I put it in a Alpha 1 gen 2 lower. Very simple process.
