They are known for their palmate leaves which come in a variety of sizes, and which can grow densely on branches. They are a fairly typical tropical plant, enjoying a moderate watering after they have almost but not totally dried out. They enjoy strong indirect light and maybe some eastern direct sun. They can be found in a variety of styles, whether it is a single tree-like specimen or a bushy presentation in a pot filled with stems.
